What: Jeff will be available to meet you, sign your books, answer your questions and help solve your running problems.

 

As a member of the 1972 Olympic team, Jeff Galloway ran with Steve Prefontaine, Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter and Amby Burfoot when the U.S. was a leading power in marathoning.

Since that time, Jeff has become the nation’s leading running author and coach (over one million books sold and over 300,000 runners and walkers coached to their goals). His unique, gentle approach to training has opened up running to almost everyone, helping them to avoid the aches and pains, while experiencing all of the accomplishment and attitude enhancement which running bestows better than anything in life.

In addition to his monthly page in Runner’s World magazine, Jeff is in front of an audience, motivating and teaching, over 250 times a year. He was recently named the official training consultant to the runDisney race series.

When you register for the Chapman 5K you are making a difference!  Proceeds from the Chapman 5K benefit the Chapman Scholarship Fund.  Students are Chapman University’s top priority and most precious resource.  Preparing them for success in all their endeavors is at the core of Chapman’s mission.  The most powerful and meaningful way to support Chapman students is to give a gift supporting scholarships.
