He graduated from Chapman in 1998 with a B.A. in English with an emphasis in journalism, he spent the last decade working in education and technology. He has worked at Chapman for more than six years, starting as public relations editor, then overseeing Chapman's website as web managing editor. Before returning to Chapman, Matt spent three years as an editor for a monthly marketing magazine and a weekly home entertainment magazine. He then worked for five years as managing editor for a leading education technology magazine and its related online properties. Matt lives in Tustin, Calif., and enjoys volunteering in the Chapman and local communities.

Chapman has just launched a Shop n’ Shuttle service providing free rides for students to local grocery and convenience stores.
