Chapman University freshman sprinter Lauren Deats dashed into the school record books on Saturday afternoon, becoming the fastest Panther ever in the 100 meters with a time of 12.80 and a second-place finish at the SCIAC Multi-Dual meet at the Strehle Track on the campus of Pomona College.
