Chapman University to host free ‘Excellence in Journalism’ conference

Chapman University will host a day-long conference and workshop titled Excellence in Journalism on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Chapman University will host a day-long conference and workshop titled Excellence in Journalism on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., featuring talks and programs by 13 Pulitzer Prize winners, plus winners of Emmys and other top awards.

The conference is sponsored by the Orange County Press Club and Chapman University’s journalism program in the Department of English. Sponsors include Chapman University, the Orange County Register and the Los Angeles chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association.
