The Leatherby Libraries is happy to welcome those students who are returning to the Chapman University campus beginning Monday, October 19, 2020.

The Leatherby Libraries has re-opened to welcome students back to campus, but our policies and procedures are new. Please read below to learn how you can use the library safely.

  • Prior to entering the library, you must reserve a study space.
    See updated study space reservation policies here!
  • Download the MyLibrary! application for your mobile IOS or Android device. Use it to browse the catalog, place holds, view your circulation account and display your digital barcode for a contactless checkout of items and study space access.
  • Browsing the library collections is currently NOT Place a hold on items in the library catalog and the library will notify you when they are ready to be picked up.
  • To access classrooms in the Leatherby Libraries basement be prepared to provide class information at the Circulation Desk to be allowed to proceed.
    *Early arrival (more than 15 minutes) to a scheduled class will NOT be permitted.
