Are your closets are full to overflowing with clothes you just don’t wear?

Do you keep wearing the same things over and over because you can’t find what you are looking for?

Did you forget you have an amazing shirt or rocking pair of pants because they got crammed in the back of the closet?

Do you always feel like you need to go shopping because you have nothing to wear?

One great way to promote sustainability while still breathing new life into your wardrobe is to host or attend a clothing swap. Clothing swaps give you the opportunity to change your look without consuming new resources. Here at Chapman, we’ll be hosting a clothing swap during Sustainability/Earth Week for all interested students. To prepare everyone for our upcoming swap, we’ve included a
video
explaining what to expect and how to participate.

Clothing swaps were pioneered more than 18 years ago by Suzanne Agasi, founder of ClothingSwap.com. Since then, they’ve become models for promoting sharing while reducing consumption. We look forward to seeing you at the Chapman Clothing Swap. More details to come soon!
