Eileen Jankowski, Director of Scholarships and Scholars Programs, will be giving a

(Building Undergraduate Research Networks)
workshop on,
Building a Competitive Profile for Graduate School,
in the Laura Scudder Conference Room, Roosevelt Hall Dean’s Suite (RO 127) at 11:30 a.m.

Jankowski will discuss how Graduate schools, law schools, and prestigious national scholarships all share a similar profile that extends well beyond a high GPA.  This workshop will explore all the parameters needed to present yourself as the perfect candidate, and discuss how you can begin building a dynamic profile immediately.

Communication Professor Dr. Jennifer Bevan, will be giving a CRASsH (
Chapman Research Arts Social Sciences Humanities
) workshop,
Secrets of Publishing in Peer Review Journals,
in the Laura Scudder Conference Room, Roosevelt Hall Dean’s Suite (RO 127) at 11:30 a.m.

Dr. Bevan was recently recognized for her research productivity in a report titled,
Prolific Research in Communication Studies: Retrospective and Prospective Views
published in
Communication Research Reports, Vol. 26, No. 4.
The study examined research productivity in Communication Studies during the period of 2002-2006. Dr. Bevan has published 37 peer-reviewed academic journal articles and book chapters, and her book titled,
The Communication of Jealousy
, was released this month by Peter Lang Press.
