Dear Faculty Colleagues,

Registration is now open for Chapman University’s 4th annual Summer Academy on Teaching sponsored by the Institute for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (IETL) and Educational Technology Services (ETS). Consisting of formal and informal presentations and peer discussions, the focus of Summer Academy is to provide a dedicated time for faculty members to reflect and learn together about teaching excellence.

Summer Academy is open to Chapman full and part-time faculty and will take place Tuesday, August 13 & Wednesday, August 14, 2019 on the Main Campus in Orange. Space is limited to the first 100 respondents and any changes to registrations must be made by August 1. For questions, please email: edutech@chapman.edu.

After Summer Academy, the Office of Research will be hosting the inaugural Chapman Grant Writers’ Bootcamp, August 15 & 16, 2019. This is designed to assist faculty in learning about all phases of the grant cycle through a simulation process (proposal to award). Proposals will be due 5:00 p.m., May 31, 2019.
