Registration is still open for Chapman University’s annual January Conference on Teaching (JanCon) sponsored by the Institute for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (IETL) and Educational Technology Services (ETS).

The theme of JanCon will be “Teaching for Today’s Learners” and the main focus area of the conference will be on interactive training for Canvas, Chapman’s new Learning Management System. Additional sessions will cover topics such as active teaching, diversifying your syllabus, and accessibility in the classroom.

JanCon is open to Chapman full-time faculty, part-time faculty, librarians, and graduate teaching assistants. The event will take place Friday, January 24, 2020 on the Main Campus in Orange with simultaneous sessions on the Rinker Campus.
