Dear Chapman University faculty, instructional staff, and staff,
As you are aware, over the past year and a half, the Instructional Technology team (Julie, Sarah, Elena, Sarem, and Jennifer) has been providing virtual support to the Chapman community. We have supported you with Educational Technology applications and platforms such as Canvas, Panopto, Poll Everywhere; Online meeting tools such as Zoom and Big Blue Button, and more.
The Instructional Technology team received overwhelming feedback to continue the ease and convenience of virtual access, even though we are all working back on campus. For this reason, we are excited to announce that this Fall we will expand this online support model so faculty, instructional staff, and staff will be able to get in touch with the Instructional Technology team virtually, from the comfort of their home or office. This expansion of online programming coincides with the move of the Instructional Technology team to the IS&T offices at 635 W. Palm. The Tech Hub space in DeMille 102 will now be staffed by Client Services technicians.
The Instructional Technology team will continue to support Chapman University faculty, instructional staff, and staff with Educational Technology questions in our Virtual Tech Hub on Zoom and via virtual 1:1 consultations. Moreover, we will increase the number of online EdTech workshops.
