Chapman is now piloting GydEd in Canvas for the Fall 2021 term. This is a trial and the piloteers will be assisting with the review and feedback. If you want to join the pilot please submit the pilot form.

GydEd is focused on transforming the way schools address student well-being through real-time insight. GydEd measures three psycho-social factors (PSFs): student motivation, emotion, and social well-being. This creates a more accurate profile of each student, leading to an increase in overall well-being and better retention rates.

GydEd uses a chatbot called Stella, who asks a few questions on a weekly basis to understand how a student is doing. All of the questions asked are based on the latest research in student well-being and are presented to the students in an easy-to-use, gamified format.
