you ready to be Googled?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No matter what your current career stage&#8211;on the job market, or are applying to present at a conference, or publishing a new monograph&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/cplong.org\/2013\/09\/the-googled-graduate-student\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">you will be Googled<\/a>.\u00a0 And the real question is then, what will be found when that happens?<\/p>\n<p>Curating an online scholarly identity doesn&#8217;t happen overnight, but you can get the ball rolling with a smart-looking website that holds links to your writings, research, and creative work.\u00a0 An excellent example of just such a presence is that of <a href=\"http:\/\/cplong.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr Christopher Long<\/a>, Dean of the College of Arts &amp; Letters at Michigan State University:<\/p>\n<p><a
