to know your classroom before the first day of class"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Chapman Instructors,<\/p>\n<p>We hope that this blog post finds you well and that you are enjoying these final days of summer.<\/p>\n<p>As the start of the fall term draws closer, Educational Technology Services wanted to share a few different ways that you can get oriented to the technology in your classroom and get classroom technology support.<\/p>\n<h3>Look up your classroom on the Online Classroom Inventory (OCI)<\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that there is a website where you can look up your classroom to see what it looks like and what the room features are?\u00a0 Using the Online Classroom Inventory (OCI), you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Search Chapman classrooms by building, by feature, by capacity, or by category (laboratory, active learning classroom, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>View photos of your classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Check which amenities (whiteboards, furniture, Apple TV, etc.) are available.<\/li>\n<li>Check the Zoom room type (Prime, Flexcam, or Connect).<\/li>\n<li>Find quick start videos and guides that show how to use the classroom technology!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.chapman.edu\/classrooms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment noopener wp-att-5614 noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5614 aligncenter\" width=\"506\" height=\"48\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Book an in-person classroom tech assist<\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that you can schedule a 1:1 meeting with a classroom technology expert in your classroom?\u00a0 Maybe you would like to get oriented to the classroom technology, or you need a refresher on <a href=\"https:\/\/video.chapman.edu\/V\/PlayList?node=35477366&amp;a=1693855927&amp;autoplay=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">using Zoom in your classroom<\/a>, or maybe you are minute break between classes.\u00a0 If you schedule an in-person classroom tech assist 15 minutes before your class time, there may be a class finishing up in the classroom, and you may need to wait 5
