This dashboard provides easy access to what matters most:<br \/>\nManage Rosters:\u00a0Access rosters, content, and grades\u2014all in one place.<br \/>\nBuild and Group Content:\u00a0Organize your polls and questions with ease.<br \/>\nManage Grades:\u00a0Preview grades for accuracy and sync them with Canvas at the push of a button.<br \/>\nSync Everything:\u00a0Ensure all your data is up-to-date with the one-click sync feature.<\/p>\n<h3>Participation Scoring<\/h3>\n<p>The new participation scoring model supports points-based and percentage-based scoring, offering a flexible and robust grading system. This powerful yet straightforward model makes tracking student engagement and performance more effortless.<\/p>\n<h3>Integration with Canvas<\/h3>\n<p>Course Management supports syncing courses and rosters and introduces Assignments, which are graded sets of activities tied to individual courses. These assignments can be used for a variety of tasks, such as assessing correctness, participation, and attendance. For example, you can create an Assignment that requires students to answer a set of questions during a class session, which can then be automatically scored and synced with your LMS using points-based and percentage-based models.<\/p>\n<h3>Support<\/h3>\n<p>The Instructional Technology Services team is here to support you in getting started with the Poll Everywhere Course Management feature for your course, ensuring you feel confident and supported in using this new tool.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/faculty-staff\/educational-technology-services\/instructional-technology-consultations\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instructional Technology Consultations<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Getting Started<\/h3>\n<p>The Course Management feature is available to all Chapman Instructors.\u00a0 Log into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polleverywhere.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll everywhere<\/a> with your Chapman credentials and select the Participants (two people) icon on the navigation bar.<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/01\/enable3a.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7502\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7502\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/01\/enable3a.png\" alt=\"participant icon\" width=\"53\" height=\"53\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Select<strong> Courses button<\/strong>. Please note <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Course Management eliminates the features of rosters, participant groups, and reports and everything is now referred as courses. This banner will allow you to try out the Course Management experience throughout the spring term, with the option to return to the existing experience if needed. Click the\u00a0<strong>Try it out\u00a0<\/strong>button in the banner at the top of the page. The page will update with a new \u201cAdd New Assignment\u201d feature as well as a button at the top of the page to\u00a0<strong>Revert\u00a0<\/strong>to previous settings for this course.<\/p>\n<p>After applying Course Management to at least one course, a new\u00a0<strong>Courses<\/strong> <strong>icon<\/strong> will appear in the left side menu. You can access your list of courses directly from this link without having to go to the Participants tab.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/itconnect.uw.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/enable3b.png\"
