Every other month, the Chapman University Alumni Association hosts Alumni Networking Roundtables, intimate gatherings designed for Chapman alumni who are employed or in transition, and who are interested in expanding their professional network.

\nNetworking Roundtables are an incredible way to stay connected with the University and to reconnect with fellow Chapman alumni. The events provide participants with an opportunity to build networking relationships and share knowledge, best practices and business opportunities. <\/p>\n

“This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with Chapman alumni and to see how our Chapman family is willing to help and look out for one another. It’s amazing to see what other people are doing with their careers and inspiring to hear their next moves in life!” – Networking Roundtable attendee<\/p>\n

\nIn recent post-event surveys, an overwhelming majority of attendees reported making meaningful connections at the event. 
\nIn fact, 100% of respondents would attend another Networking Roundtable in the future, <\/strong>
\nattesting to the effectiveness and value of these events. After attending a recent roundtable, one alumnus stated, “I thought this was a great experience and the Chapman Alumni Board did an amazing job putting this together.”

Before the event, participants are asked to prepare and share a brief, one-page “networking bio” that highlights their professional objective, selected accomplishments, target companies\/organizations, employment history and educational background. Roundtables provide an optimal way to introduce yourself and your career aspirations to fellow Chapman University alumni, who may have the connections you need to help you accomplish your goals.<\/p>\n

“I was extremely impressed with the caliber and variety of experience of attendees and well as the moderator and staff. The roundtable gave me an opportunity to practice my two-minute pitch (and I had room for improvement) and everyone had an opportunity to serve as a connector by sharing our experiences, ideas, and connections that may help our fellow Chapman alumni.
