On February 19, 2019, three teams of Chapman MBA students participated in the intra-school round of the ACG Cup. The ACG Cup is a case study competition that includes students from leading MBA programs across the country. Through each element of the contest, students gain real-world experience and invaluable insight into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity and financial advisory activities.
The intra-school competition was judged by a panel of four business leaders and ACG members, one of which is an alumnus of the Argyros School of Business, Daniel Sirvent, EMBA ’08.
Second year MBA students Noh Joon Choo, Ainsley Hendricks, Brandon Salvatierra, and Julian Wong, will be representing Chapman University in the final round on Monday, March 4, where they will be competing against local business schools to earn the prestigious ACG Cup title and cash prize. Last year, Chapman took first place in the competition against eleven schools including UCI, USC and UCLA. As host of the finals, we look forward to watching our team win the first place title again this year!
Congratulations to all three teams that competed in our intra-school competition this year!
