Initially hesitant about how to get involved at Chapman, Eric found his turning point through the Humanomics Summer Scholars Program. This experience fostered deep connections within the Chapman community and ignited a passion for research and collaboration that continues to define his journey.<\/p>\n<h3>Fostering Leadership <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6991 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/business\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/84\/2024\/12\/2024-08-20-Chapman-University-Opening-Convocation-328.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"249\" height=\"166\" \/><\/h3>\n<p>Eric, who now thrives as the president of the Student Government Association (SGA), exemplifies leadership and dedication. Encouragement from the Economic Science Institute solidified his interest, and he has since developed a love for the field, mainly through impactful courses like <i>Labor Economics<\/i> and <i>The Philosophy and Neuroscience of Free Will<\/i>. These classes offered academic enrichment, mentorship, and camaraderie with professors and upper-level students.<\/p>\n<h3>Building Legacies<\/h3>\n<p>One of Eric\u2019s proudest accomplishments is establishing Omicron Delta Epsilon, Chapman\u2019s Economics Honor Society.
