Komen Race for the Cure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One in every eight women suffers from breast cancer. Susan G. Komen is the largest breast cancer organization in the world and currently funds more research for the cause than any other non-profit organization. Since Komen is such a leader in making an impact, I ask all Chapman students who also want to make a difference in the world to stand up and join the Chapman Panthers in walking\/running\/donating for their cause.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">&#xA0;Sunday, September 28, 2014&#xD;<br \/>\n7:15AM or 9:15AM<\/h2>\n<p>&#xD;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">(depending on the time you sign up for)<\/p>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"button red\" href=\"http:\/\/www.komenoc.org\/faf\/search\/searchTeamPart.asp?ievent=1109329&amp;team=5961247\">Register or Donate Now<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\nJoin our team and help us support Komen&#8217;s vision of a World Without Breast Cancer. If 150 people sign up and each person raises $55 we can actually exceed our goal of $8,000! It takes one to make a difference but it takes a team to make an IMPACT.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\nLast year Chapman University and the Chapman MBA Alumni Association were so influential&#xA0;that they received three outstanding awards for their contributions:&#xD;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2013 Rookie Team of the Year Award<\/strong><\/li>\n<p>&#xD;<\/p>\n<li><strong>2013 3rd Place Award &#8211; Non Profit Group<\/strong><\/li>\n<p>&#xD;<\/p>\n<li><strong>2013 Top 25 Teams of the Year Award<\/strong><\/li>\n<p>&#xD;\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#xD;<br \/>\nAll of Chapman is rallying around this worthy cause with all of the schools working together. We hope to get students from the undergraduates and the different masters programs to join in!
