I have two words to describe this info session: Empowering and Authentic. W<\/span>ithout\u00a0<\/span>even stepping into\u00a0<\/span>David&Goliath<\/span>\u00a0(D&G)<\/span>\u00a0agency, all it took was listening to the\u00a0<\/span>F<\/span>ounder and chairman<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>David Angelo<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to have a glimpse of what sets this\u00a0<\/span>company<\/span>\u00a0apart and why they continue to break records. It<\/span>\u00a0was a unique experience seeing the passion with which\u00a0<\/span>Angelo<\/span>\u00a0spoke, and how he kept echoing the agency\u2019s goal to help i<\/span>nspire people and\u00a0<\/span>challenge\u00a0<\/span>brands to embrace\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>unleash their true potential.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An agency that would inspire me to live my truth of who I am and the challenges that I went through<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 i<\/span>n hopes that it\u00a0<\/span>would\u00a0<\/span>inspire people and brands to bravely take on their Goliath and step into their true potential. The key to our success is embracing where we’re\u00a0<\/span>from and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>going all-in<\/span>\u00a0with that. It is about being true to who you are and, ultimately, aligning your values with the values\u00a0<\/span>of those\u00a0<\/span>consumers<\/span>,<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Angel<\/span>o<\/span>\u00a0shared.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0D&G\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>authentic passion and cultur<\/span>e<\/span>, championed by Angelo,<\/span>\u00a0sh<\/span>one through the entire event.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its establishment in 1999, the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>integrated creative advertising agency<\/span> has partnered with challenger brands like HBO, KIA, Jack in the Box, Universal Parks & Resorts, and so many more! What was interesting to note was how every initiative ever embarked on was culture-driven and the strong mindset to never back down<\/strong><\/span>. The reality that there\u2019s a team out there collectively deciding and working to\u00a0create\u00a0a massive\u00a0impact and sustainability was inspiring!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Angelo explained that the agency thrives on its\u00a0<\/span>one-word<\/span>\u00a0philosophy:\u00a0<\/span>B<\/span><\/b>rave<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0I<\/span>t was interesting to see<\/span>\u00a0how D&G has expanded the term to encompass<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the company\u2019s cultural\u00a0<\/span>values<\/span>\u00a0and their commitment to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>transform<\/span>\u00a0communities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>They are actively working towards\u00a0<\/span>amplifying the voices of minority groups<\/span>, challenging what a brand can accomplish by shifting the perception of advertising, inspiring social responsibility,<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>empowering next-generation leaders<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>All of this<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is influenced by\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0powerful\u00a0<\/span>purpose that is innovative, integrating and\u00a0<\/span>inspires<\/span>\u00a0the courage to embrace who you are and live it every day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

David Angelo\u00a0<\/span>encouraged\u00a0<\/span>participants\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>be confident\u00a0<\/span>in the face of setbacks<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0develop a mindset that\u00a0<\/span>to confront<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>challenges<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>head-on<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
