The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Teaching Intensive: <\/strong>Designing for Inclusive and Accessible Learning<\/strong><\/h3>\n

What<\/strong>: The CETL is pleased to announce the 2024 January teaching intensive, which will focus on inclusive teaching practices, including creating high-structure courses and applying principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to design accessible learning activities and assessments. Participants who attend all three of the sessions and submit a deliverable will earn an inclusive teaching certificate from the CETL.<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: January 18, 2024, 8:45am to 3:00pm<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Orange Campus, Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship (549 W. Palm)<\/p>\n

Who should attend<\/strong>: Chapman faculty interested in participating in a hands-on exploration of inclusive teaching practices and principles. Participants will leave the intensive with specific, actionable strategies for designing more inclusive learning experiences for their students and a head start on updating course materials to achieve this purpose.<\/p>\n
