Corse has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including the Cartier Foundation Award and the Theordorian Award from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. \u00a0Corse has been the subject of many solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, and London. The artist has been involved in group exhibitions such as <em>Phenomenal: California Light and Space<\/em> and <em>Pacific Standard Time: Crosscurrents<\/em> in L.A. Painting and Sculpture 1950-1970.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Corse\u2019s work, inspired by abstraction and color theory, is part of the Light and Space movement, most popular in the 1960s, and the Minimalism movement. Her large-scale works are constructed from non-traditional materials, including glass, fluorescent lights and Plexiglass. \u00a0Corse\u2019s paintings include pearlescent paint on stretched canvas, which gives the apparently simplistic canvas a radiant, soulful light.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><em>All text and images under copyright.
