The Segerstrom Center has just launched a new ONLINE application for their internship program in order to make it simpler and easier to apply for our internship opportunities. If you are interested in arts administration, consider these exciting 12 week academic internships available in the following departments:

  • Community Engagement
  • Development
  • Education
  • Guest Services
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Special Events
  • Theater Operations

We will be accepting applications for our Spring internships.

The deadline to apply is Friday, December 7th.

Interns work approximately 10 hours per week and hours are arranged to fit the intern’s schedule. In addition to the focused professional supervision from the Center’s directors and managers, interns will be able to attend professional development sessions as well as performances, workshops and classes presented at the Center, free of charge (if space is available) throughout their internship. These internships are a wonderful opportunity to explore all of the career options available in the non-profit field, make important connections and see what really goes on behind the curtains of a large performing arts center.

To apply, students should visit and click the apply button. The website and attached flyer also include additional information. This information is also posted to Chapman’s Handshake Portal through the Career and Professional Development Center.
