Hello! My name is Celine Tran I am a senior. As a communication studies major with a passion for social media, I was thrilled to land an internship with Sakilla Brows, an eyebrow tattoo company in Orange County. As their social media marketing intern, I was responsible for managing all their social media accounts, creating and curating content, and engaging with their followers. Throughout my internship, I learned so much about the power of social media marketing and how it can be used to grow a business.<\/p>\n

One of the most valuable experiences I had during my internship was learning how to create a cohesive social media strategy. This involved understanding the brand\u2019s tone and aesthetic, identifying target audiences, and creating content that would resonate with them. I also learned the importance of consistent posting and engaging with followers to build a loyal community.<\/p>\n

My communication courses at Chapman University were instrumental in preparing me for this position. In particular, my classes on social media and digital communication gave me a solid foundation in the principles of effective social media marketing. I was able to apply what I learned in these classes to my internship, which helped me create content that resonated with our target audience.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite success stories from my time at Sakilla Brows was when we ran a social media campaign to promote a new service. We created a series of posts and stories that showcased the process of getting the service done, as well as before-and-after photos of clients. The campaign was a huge success, with many clients booking appointments and mentioning the campaign when they came in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In conclusion, my internship with Sakilla Brows allowed me to gain practical experience in social media marketing, which will undoubtedly benefit me in my future career. I learned so much about the power of social media and how it can be used to grow a business. This experience also taught me the importance of creating a cohesive social media strategy, consistently posting engaging content, and building a loyal community of followers.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, this internship taught me valuable skills that I will carry with me throughout my career, such as teamwork, communication, and time management. These skills are essential in any professional setting, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have developed them during my internship. I hope that my experience can inspire other communication students to pursue internships and gain practical experience in their field. Overall, my internship with Sakilla Brows was an invaluable experience, and I am excited to see where my career in social media marketing will take me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
