One of the most valuable assets of Chapman’s School of Communication is its community. From supportive faculty members to driven students and engaged alumni, the School of Communication is full of people passionate about sharing their experiences and helping others grow. These conversations come to life through ComPod<\/em>, a student-run podcast that highlights the stories, experiences, and perspectives that make Chapman’s School of Communication community so special.<\/p>\n

The history behind ComPod dates back to 2021, when Travis Bartosh, faculty advisor within the School of Communication and Chapman Radio, helped launch the podcast as a platform for students to share their stories and conversations about communication, campus life, and career paths within the field. Today, ComPod<\/em> is hosted by two School of Communication Students, Varenna Morris<\/strong> (’27) and Chelsea<\/strong> Falcocchia<\/strong> (’26), who continue to spotlight unique perspectives from students, faculty, and alumni. What originally started as a passion project has recently been revived, bringing new energy and conversations to the podcast just in time for the spring semester and for the School of Communication’s upcoming 10-year anniversary.<\/p>\n

Every episode covers a different aspect of the School of Communication. Whether that is focusing on specific programs offered, student organizations, personal experiences, or career journeys, each episode gives students a better understanding of what studying communication at Chapman really looks like. By hearing directly from the people who have lived these stories, listeners gain a more personal perspective than they might get from a brochure or a website.<\/p>\n
