With this news,\u00a0<b>we will now need to begin the spring semester with remote instruction.<\/b>\u00a0This does not impact the current in-person instruction currently in progress at the Rinker campus, or limited in-person courses\u00a0that are scheduled\u00a0at the Orange campus.<\/p>\n<p>This is disappointing news but we remain committed to opening for in-person instruction as soon as the state and local health agencies allow for it.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, this impacts those moving into Chapman Housing. OCHCA has been a valuable partner to us in our efforts to keep our Chapman campus and students healthy, and we believe it is prudent to respect their recommendation to delay move-in.\u00a0<b>Therefore, we will be postponing our spring semester move-in until the week of February 15.<\/b>\u00a0If this creates a burden for those with travel plans already finalized, I encourage you to contact the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/students\/services\/housing-and-residence\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">Office of Residence\u00a0Life and First Year Experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I will keep you informed as we receive more information.<\/p>\n<p>Daniele C.
