The signal will eventually be synchronized with the signal at Glassell and Walnut. This intersection has experienced significant congestion during peak hours, and the new signal will bring much needed control to help traffic move more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>Chapman University will finance the cost of the installation, estimated at $1 million.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new signal is an investment in our community\u2019s safety and quality of life,\u201d said Alisa Driscoll, vice president of community relations at Chapman. \u201cBy improving traffic flow and pedestrian safety, we\u2019re making our streets more accessible and safer for students and residents alike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Installation is expected to be completed in 2026. Some closures will take place during off-peak hours to reduce inconvenience for local traffic. Local residents and businesses will be kept informed about any updates, and we appreciate the community\u2019s patience as this important project is
