On Tuesday, March 8, 2016, the Orange City Council unanimously approved the first reading of revisions to Ordinance 03-16, commonly referred to as the \u201cparty ordinance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The proposed amendments would assist with the control of parties throughout the city.<\/p>\n

The revisions include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Adding a provision to make it a violation to attend a loud of unruly gathering.<\/li>\n
  2. Extending the time period for a second response to be issued from the current 10 days to the date of the first response notice through \u201cthe passing of the next June 30.”<\/li>\n
  3. Adding provisions for Private Right of Abatement and Attorney Fees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The second reading of the Ordinance 03-16 is scheduled for the April 12th City Council meeting.<\/p>\n
