Chapman University is excited to announce the return of an extremely popular event, Science on Tap<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Starting on November 1st, Chapman University’s Schmid College of Science and Technology will be hosting open discussions ranging from tsunami risks, to California’s ecosystem, to food fraud. But these events are by no means your average intellectual discussions. Per the name, all Science on Tap events will be hosted at the wonderful Old Town Provisions Market<\/a> where you can pair your academic curiosity with one of Provisions 200+ craft beers.<\/p>\n

Don’t think of yourself as an academic? No problem! Science on Tap welcomes anyone wanting learn. No prior knowledge is needed. The idea is to spread novel ideas that may not be shared otherwise. Even if scientific discussion doesn’t tickle your fancy, Provisions Market has an assortment of wines, cheeses, breads, other types of prepared food for your culinary enjoyment.<\/p>\n

Started in 2015 by Dean Andrew Lyon, Science on Tap aims to mix the intensity of scientific debate, with the company of relaxing amongst friends. Open to anyone over 21, Science on Tap encourages people from all walks of life to come and offer their\u00a0perspective.<\/p>\n

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that the more we engage our community, the better off our world will be. Some come, enjoy the food, enjoy the drink, and enjoy the stimulating discussion with Chapman and Orange community.<\/p>\n
