Matt and Ross Duffer, writers, directors, producers of the acclaimed Netflix series <em>Stranger Things<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>College of Performing Arts Commencement Ceremony, Wilson Field<\/strong><strong>\u20143:30 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Commencement Ceremony for the College of Performing Arts celebrates our dance, music, and theatre graduates and their hard work throughout their educational career. Entry gates to Wilson Field open <strong>30 minutes<\/strong> prior to the start of the ceremony. <strong>Once the ceremony has concluded, we invite our graduates and their families to attend a reception in the Shady Quad located between Oliphant, Wilkinson, and Memorial Hall<\/strong>. College of Performing Arts faculty and staff will be present to congratulate you, take photos and mingle with your families before you head off to your celebrations with\u00a0 family and friends.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Continue monitoring your Chapman email for additional updates about commencement. The reception will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>Q<\/strong>: <strong>How many people may I bring to Commencement?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>A<\/strong>: Commencement is free and open to all guests and family of students.\u00a0Guest\u00a0tickets are not required for commencement ceremonies and there is no limit on how many guests you may invite. <em>Please note that seating is first come, first served<\/em>. Seating is in folding chairs on artificial turf. Once the ceremony begins, empty seats must be made available to accommodate guests without seats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>Q: What do I need to know about parking?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>A:<\/strong>\u00a0During Commencement Weekend, parking is free in all designated parking structures and lots, and curbside permits are not required on local streets. Please allow yourself ample time to park your\u00a0vehicle and walk to your ceremony site.
