Health Sciences student works at one of multiple learning stations in the Virtual Human Anatomy Lab

Incoming Health Sciences (HSCI) and Applied Human Physiology (AHP) students will have the opportunity to engage with current students, professors, and staff on July 15 during the program’s Zoom Meet-Up. The session will run from 1:00 pm (PDT) to approximately 2:30 pm (PDT). Participation is optional but highly encouraged as much helpful information will be shared.

New students can expect to receive an e-blast in their Chapman email account this Saturday, July 4 around noon. The Zoom link will be provided in that communication.

Applied Human Physiology students work with Dr. Eric Sternlicht in the Human Performance Lab

Those participating on the call include chair of the HSCI/AHP programs, Dr. Ken Sumida, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Success, Dr. Ky Kugler, Career Advisor, Heidi Swanson, Administrative Assistant Mallorie Munoz, and others. The event will serve as both a social meet-n-greet and an information session where students can ask program-specific questions.  Discussion topics will include undergraduate research opportunities, internship experiences, Health Sciences clubs and student-based organizations, and much more.

At Chapman, we pride ourselves in providing exceptional support and services that foster student success. This event is just one example of our commitment to making each and every new student feel welcomed and fully prepared to SLAY their first year!
