{"id":2193,"date":"2018-12-12T12:05:32","date_gmt":"2018-12-12T20:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogschapman.wpenginepowered.com\/crean\/2018\/12\/12\/addressing-the-oral-health-crisis-in-children\/"},"modified":"2018-12-12T12:05:32","modified_gmt":"2018-12-12T20:05:32","slug":"addressing-the-oral-health-crisis-in-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/crean\/2018\/12\/12\/addressing-the-oral-health-crisis-in-children\/","title":{"rendered":"Addressing the Oral Health Crisis in Children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pew Charitable Trusts recent analysis, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewtrusts.org\/en\/research-and-analysis\/analysis\/2018\/02\/16\/how-to-improve-oral-health-outcomes-for-kids\">How to Improve Health Outcomes for Kids<\/a>,\u201d reported only 50 percent of children on Medicaid received dental care in 2016 causing dental caries to become the most common chronic disease of children aged six to 11 in the United States.
