The events are tailored specifically to parents of undergraduates majoring in Psychology, Health Sciences, and Applied Human Physiology.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the schedule for parents of CHBS students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feb 22- 12:00 p.m. &#8211; Parent lunch at Crean Hall $15\/person<\/li>\n<li>Feb 22- 12:30 p.m. &#8211; Career Readiness, presented by CHBS Career Advisor, Heidi Swanson<\/li>\n<li>Feb 22- 1:30 p.m. &#8211; Dialogue with the Dean, presented by CHBS Dean, Dr. Janeen Hill (DWTD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Out of the three events, DWTD is the one we most encourage parents to attend. Here are the top three reasons to go:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dean Hill\u2019s presentation contains tons of useful information including updates on present and future college initiatives and involvement opportunities for parents within the college. <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If your parents love information, DWTD is a must-go! The presentation gives parents a comprehensive look at all of the services and offerings available to their students. It provides education and career data relevant to those pursuing health-related professions. Finally, it informs parents on the multiple ways they can stay engaged and be heard.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Following the brief presentation, the floor is open for a Q &amp; A session with parents.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Parents are invited to ask questions, raise concerns, and provide feedback on their student\u2019s experiences. It is a rare opportunity for parents and University leaders to share thoughts and insights directly with each other in a relaxed and welcoming environment.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>It is a great opportunity for CHBS parents to meet each other.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In the process of chatting, parents often discover shared interests and common ground. Almost everyone who attends DWTD comes away with new friends.<\/p>\n<p><a
