AAUW is proud to be one of the nation\u2019s largest educational funders for women of color.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aauw.org\/resources\/programs\/fellowships-grants\/current-opportunities\/career-development\/\">AAUW Career Development Grants<\/a> help women who are preparing to change or advance their careers, or to re-enter the workforce. This funding is especially important given that women are disproportionately burdened by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aauw.org\/research\/deeper-in-debt\/\">student debt<\/a>. \u00a0And their ability to pay off that debt is hampered by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aauw.org\/research\/the-simple-truth-about-the-gender-pay-gap\/\">lifelong pay gap<\/a> that\u00a0affects women in nearly every profession.
