\"alex\"<\/a> What are you most excited\u00a0about starting PA School?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m excited to dive into a rigorous, hands-on curriculum that prepares me to make a direct impact on patients\u2019 lives. KGI\u2019s innovative approach, experienced faculty, and collaborative community align perfectly with my passion for healthcare and commitment to growth.<\/p>\n

What experiences at Chapman were most valuable to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My most valuable experience at Chapman was serving as president of the Pre-PA Club, especially during the challenges of the pandemic. I focused on growing membership by creating additional leadership roles and enhancing our presence on Instagram to promote engaging meetings. I collaborated with the Career Center and invited representatives from PA programs to speak with our members. Additionally, I organized opportunities for current PA students to share their experiences. My team and I also supported students with class selections, and I encouraged my team to take the lead in hosting meetings, fostering collaboration and leadership development.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Did you work closely with a faculty member? If so, who?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, I worked closely with Dr. Sternlicht<\/a> and Heidi Girolamo. I also am “paying it forward” by being apart of The Panther Network<\/a>. I\u2019ve already had a few mentees reach out. I look forward to being a mentor for spring semester too!<\/p>\n

Were you involved in research or clubs or other activities?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was the President and Vice President of the Pre- PA Club, President of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Treasurer of Tri Delta, member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Team Developer Assistant of the Admissions Team, Notetaker for students with disabilities and worked at the Career and Professional Development office.<\/p>\n

Aside from Chapman, I have actively volunteered with the Interfaith Food Center, a food pantry in Santa Fe Springs.<\/p>\n

\"helping<\/p>\n

In 2024, I became an ambassador with the Association of Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Inflammatory Diseases (AHSID) and was invited to be a guest speaker. Lastly, I have been involved with Vida Mobile Clinic to serve the unhoused and uninsured communities in Los Angeles. I presented research with Vida Mobile clinic as well.<\/p>\n

Please share your goals and aspirations for the future. <\/strong>My aspiration is to become a PA while advocating for the profession and my patients. I will also continue my advocacy for patients with HS and autoinflammatory diseases. A balance of medicine and health policy are my ultimate goals for my future.<\/p>\n

Anything else you\u2019d like me to share or highlight?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My path to becoming a PA has been anything but linear, and I\u2019m incredibly grateful for the support I\u2019ve received at Chapman. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sternlicht, Heidi Girolamo, and my peers for guiding and encouraging me throughout this journey.<\/p>\n
