Their accomplishments highlighted the program\u2019s growing national presence and commitment to advancing healthcare through research, scholarship, and academic excellence.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5105 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/crean\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2026\/06\/AAPA-2026-MTA-5-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Presenting research at conference\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/crean\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2026\/06\/AAPA-2026-MTA-5-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/crean\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2026\/06\/AAPA-2026-MTA-5-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/crean\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/75\/2026\/06\/AAPA-2026-MTA-5.jpg 842w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Research Excellence on a National Stage<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">One of the conference\u2019s highlights was the Project Innovation Exchange, a highly competitive research forum featuring graduate student scholarship from PA programs across the country. Out of more than 150 abstracts submitted, only 64 were selected for presentation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Chapman students contributed seven of the accepted abstracts that is approximately 11 percent of all presentations! Reza Mirbolooki, whose mentorship helped shepherd the projects from development through national presentation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">\u201cThis accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedication of our exceptional students and the unwavering support of our faculty,\u201d said Dr. Mirbolooki. \u201cI would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Professors Walsh, Stone, Cates, Swisher, Saldivar, Snee, and Burney for their collaboration and commitment to excellence in research.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Students presenting research at the conference included Makayla Ives, Justice Adair, Nhat Anh Cao, Clarice Chui, Yoonjo D. Choi, Nicole Strong, Janel Tran, and Angelica Cadondon.<\/p>\n<h3>National Scholarship Recognition<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Further elevating Chapman\u2019s presence at the conference, Nicole Strong and Angelica Cadondon were named recipients of the 2026 AAPA PA Student Scholarship.
