The Art Directors Guild (ADG) Film Society 2019 is inviting students at Chapman (10 tickets only!) to attend a screening of CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND (1977). Following the screening there will be a discussion with Production Designer Joe Alves on “Learning From a Master of In-Camera Design”.

The evening will be moderated by Film Society co-chair Thomas A. Walsh, ADG. The annual ADG Screening Series “Production Design: Designers on Design,” highlighting the work of renown Production Designers and their creative collaborations, is in association with American Cinematheque and sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter.

The ADG Film Society is extending 10 free tickets to Chapman Students to attend the screening and panel. This is a great oppotunity for students to learn more about production design in film as well as a fantastic way to network with ADG members!

Please RSVP no later than Friday, June 21st at 3:00pm to Debbie Patton (filmsociety@adg.org). For more information about the screening please see the ADG Film Society website.
