Announced on June 13, 2017
Hannah Katagi (BA/PRA ’18) has been honored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) as one of only 16 students to receive a Vance and Betty Stickell Internship. This program places exemplary college juniors in a paid 10-week summer internship in media organizations, advertising agencies and brands.
This is a great recognition for Hannah, who we all know is an exceptional person and student,” says advertising professor John Most. “Her teachers praise her; her classmates love her and admire her professionalism, knowledge, her caring attitude and willingness to always help others and go the extra mile for them. The AAF and the judges who awarded Hannah this special honor believe her to be among the VERY best in the country and top of the list of upcoming young professional for the advertising industry. Literally. They believe, clearly–what we already know. It is so nice to see Hannah, an outstanding representative for Chapman and for our Advertising and PR program–recognized to this level of achievement.”
Katagi has accepted a position with a new cosmetics company, ZerOne Cosmetics, where she will orchestrate their marketing/digital/social media outreach and direct and manage their September product launch.
