Dodge College and Netflix invite you to a free screening of\u00a0The Irishman<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0on\u00a0Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Folino Theater<\/strong>. Experience The Irishman <\/i>on the big screen in Dolby Atmos, before its release on Netflix.<\/p>\n

About the Film
\n<\/strong>Director Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver<\/em>, Goodfellas<\/em>,\u00a0The Departed<\/em>) delivers an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries, and connections to mainstream politics.<\/p>\n

The film reunites Martin Scorsese with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci for the first time in twenty-four years, a momentous event in the annals of film. The film also represents the historic collaboration between Martin Scorsese and Al Pacino as he appears for the first time in a film by the famed director.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Entrance<\/strong>
\nThe line for the screening will form outside of Marion Knott Studios along the Cypress Street sidewalk. Theater doors will open at 6:45\u00a0p.m. \u2013 there are no physical tickets needed. Seating is first come, first served.<\/p>\n

\nAll food and drinks are banned from the Folino Theater.<\/p>\n
