Keep your eyes open for another Dodge Screening Series in the coming months, and make sure you go back and check out the other 3 films we highlighted as well as our alumni who contributed to their creation. The first week we highlighted <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/dodge\/2020\/05\/08\/introducing-the-dodge-screening-series\/\">BLINDSPOTTING<\/a>, the second week we highlighted <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/dodge\/2020\/05\/15\/dodge-screening-series-week-2\/\">ROCK STEADY ROW<\/a>, and last week we highlighted <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/dodge\/2020\/05\/22\/dodge-screening-series-week-3\/\">NEWNESS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Dodge Screening Series for this week is BOJACK HORSEMAN. This week we enlisted the help of one of the shows writers Kelly Galuska (BA\/SW &#8217;06) to help us introduce this animated series:<\/p>\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kelly Galuska Intro\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/424058084?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"320\" height=\"568\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>After starring in the popular sitcom &#8220;Horsin&#8217; Around&#8221; in the late 80s and early 90s, BoJack Horseman struggles with his deteriorating popularity, depression, addiction, and maintaining the relationships with those he cares about, but can&#8217;t seem to stop hurting, all while living in the satirical, pun-filled city of Hollywood, California.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"BoJack Horseman | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i1eJMig5Ik4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The series premiered on Netflix on August 22nd, 2014 and ended on January 31st, 2020 after six seasons with a total of 77 episodes. The series also recieved numerous accolades including four Critics Choice Television Awards for Best Animated Series, three Annie Awards, and two Writers Guild of America Awards. The episodes that she wrote include; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4835738\/?ref_=pro_tt_visitcons\">Hank After Dark<\/a> (S2 Ep7), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt5218432\/?ref_=pro_tt_visitcons\">BoJack Kills<\/a> (S3 Ep3), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt6260644\/?ref_=pro_tt_visitcons\">Underground<\/a> (S4, Ep7), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt8266834\/?ref_=pro_tt_visitcons\">Mr. Peanutbutter&#8217;s Boos<\/a> (S5, Ep8).
