And making a documentary to chronicle it all &#8211; traversing all of Costa Rica, Pacific to Caribbean without ever turning on a motor.<\/p>\n<p>If this sounds like an exciting way to spend Inter-Term, then consider joining Professor Jeff Swimmer and world-renowned adventure and wildlife cinematographer Bob Poole for Human-Powered Costa Rica, Inter-Term 2013&#8217;s popular Expedition Documentary course (FTV 416-616).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cost will be approximately $4,000, including roundtrip airfare and all food, lodging and adventure equipment<\/li>\n<li>Dates are January 7-18. Fitness and curiosity are a must<\/li>\n<li>Interested students should go to the info session on October 23 at 10 PM in MKS 132<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, please contact Professor Swimmer at <a href=\"mailto:swimmer@chapman.edu\">swimmer@chapman.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Doorway to India, Inter-term 2013 <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Travel to Hyderabad, India, January 8-21, to make short narrative and documentary films in collaboration with ISFM film students at Annapurna Studios.
