We are now accepting applications for the spring 2016 Marion Knott Filmmaker-in-Residence program.\u00a0 This semester, our talented filmmaker is director\/producer Rob Cohen<\/a><\/strong> who directed such films as The Fast and the Furious, xXx, The Boy Next Door<\/em>; Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story<\/em>, The Skulls<\/em>, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor<\/em>, and Dragonheart<\/em>. If selected to participate as a Marion Knott Scholar, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of Hollywood\u2019s finest filmmakers.\u00a0 Scholars should have a work in progress, either a screenplay, a concept in development, or footage suitable for an episodic form to work on during the semester.\u00a0 Scholars will meet individually with Mr. Cohen for an hour every other Tuesday (between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m).\u00a0 Scholars are also required to enroll in FTV 310\/510 (Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.)<\/strong> with Professor Alex Rose (you do not have to be enrolled in this course to apply. However, if you are selected, you will have to enroll by Friday, February 12). There will be a lunch with Mr. Cohen and all of the Scholars at some point during the semester.<\/p>\n
