Now that the dust has settled and that the awards were handed out last night in Hollywood, we can now definitively say that Dodge indeed won the day!:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jon Milano and Chris Naughton\u2019s <u>STRAW DOLLS<\/u> took the top award for <strong>Best Drama<\/strong>, an EXTREMELY competitive category beating out AFI and UCLA for <strong>First Place<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><u>STRAW DOLLS<\/u> also took a very special juried award, <strong>The Bricker Humanitarian Award<\/strong>, a $4000 cash award which is given to a College Television Award winner whose work best highlights a humanitarian concern.<\/li>\n<li>Missy Hauser, Skyler Stearns, and Jackson Miller\u2019s <u>GUIDE<\/u> took another very special award, <strong>The Loreen Arbus Focus on Disability Scholarship<\/strong>, a $10,000 award which celebrates student storytellers whose work sheds light on people with disabilities. This marks two years in a row that Chapman has won this scholarship, with last year\u2019s award going to Natalie Whalen\u2019s <u>UNSPOKEN<\/u><\/li>\n<li>Not to be outdone in a more unique category, Dodge also won <strong>First Place<\/strong> with Anthony Abaci\u2019s <u>PLAYHOUSE OF CARDS<\/u> for <strong>Best Series \u2013 Scripted<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>We\u2019re not finished yet \u2013 Nicole Jordan-Webber and Ceylan Carhoglu\u2019s <u>GARDENERS OF THE FOREST<\/u> won the <strong>Second Place<\/strong> prize for <strong>Best Documentary<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Finally, we had TWO winners in the <strong>Best Children\u2019s Program<\/strong> with JJ Englert, Colin Laviola, and Gabe Figueroa\u2019s <u>COLD WINTER\u2019S NIGHT<\/u> taking the <strong>Second Place<\/strong> prize and Annie Chapin, Andrew Evers, and Sky Stone\u2019s <u>OPERATION DIVORCE<\/u> winning the <strong>Third Place<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the whole, Dodge\u2019s six films in contention took home a whopping SEVEN awards on the night. A big congratulations is due for the filmmakers and Dodge\u2019s great staff and faculty that helped shepherd these films and filmmakers along.<\/p>\n<p>Check out these articles and listings for more
