Dr. Mary Kennedy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Communication Sciences and Disorders<\/a> graduate program at Chapman University will be hosting the Survivor Symposium on\u00a0March 14, 2015 at Argyros Form, Room 208 from 9am – 1pm. \u00a0This event will focus on\u00a0Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). \u00a0The theme of the event is TBI: Managing Transitions and Recovery and the speakers include Dr. Mary Kennedy<\/a>, a Speech-Language Pathologist and professor for the CSD graduate program and Sue Rueb, the owner and director of the Brain Rehabilitation and Injury Network <\/a>(B.R.A.I.N). \u00a0In addition, there will be a panel of survivors and survivor’s loved ones who will share their journey of living and coping with a TBI. \u00a0This event is open to the public and is a great opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, doctors, coaches, students, parents and individuals who have experienced a brain injury to learn more about how to transition back into everyday life after a brain injury.<\/p>\n
