One commitment that I am most proud of participating in this year is the Libreria Martinez\u00a0de Chapman University\u00a0Teen Mentoring Program<\/a>. This semester I have committed 1.5 hours on Tuesdays to share my experience, offer practical knowledge and support\u00a0a hand full of high school students from Santa Ana High School.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0am so impressed by these young adults\u00a0from Santa Ana High School because many of them as freshman have already\u00a0planned the necessary steps to go to college and become doctors, professional athletes, and leaders in\u00a0their community. They inspire me to think outside of my bubble at Chapman University.<\/p>\n

This organization has shown me just how meaningful it is to take time from my busy schedule to invest\u00a0time in youth.\u00a0Apart from\u00a0the relationships I have built with\u00a0the mentees, it has also been great to meet a diverse group of\u00a0Chapman students through this organization. If you are available from 4:30-6pm on Tuesdays, I encourage you to apply to be a mentor for\u00a0LMDCU<\/a>. Applications are due May 1, 2015.<\/p>\n
