Their work explored diverse topics in education, with each one demonstrating poise, expertise, and confidence in presenting to the many event participants who stopped by to view their posters.<\/p>\n<p>Emmett Griffith presented research on the experiences of transgender students in higher education. He will proceed with his findings in developing proposals for future university policies that can promote educational equity. Lindsey Robb explored racial equity in America\u2019s national park system. Her research opened up an important space for often silenced voices and narratives and she hopes to further pursue justice in this field. Anna Kuhn presented research on the budding intersectional field of neuroscience and mathematics pedagogy. It should be noted that these students were mentored and co-researched with two of our outstanding faculty, Drs. Michelle Samura and Quaylan Allen.
