Her research interests include bridging the research-to-practice gap in school psychology, helping practitioners track the effectiveness of their interventions, and creating safe, supportive, and caring school environments for all students.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/michelle-samura\">Michelle Samura<\/a><br \/>\n, assistant professor, is the Coordinator of Student and Community Engagement for the Integrated Educational Studies and Teacher Education Programs and founding Co-Director of the Collaborative Initiative &#x2013; which aims to reconceptualize purposes of higher education and develop ways to help people rethink where and how &#x201C;learning&#x201D; happens. Her research explores the intersection of space, race, and education. She currently is studying the role of space in the development of belonging and community in higher education settings.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/scot-danforth\">Scot Danforth<\/a><br \/>\n, professor, is a scholar in the fields of disability studies in education and inclusive education. He is author or editor of over seventy publications, including ten books. His scholarship examines political and ethical issues involving disabled young people and schooling, and his goal is to foster the development of democratic schools and communities that are accepting, supportive, and caring to all persons.&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\n&#x201C;I&#x2019;m very pleased these three highly talented individuals have accepted my invitation to serve on the CES administrative team beginning August 1,&#x201D; said<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/margaret-grogan\">Margaret Grogan<\/a><br \/>\n, dean of the College of Educational Studies. &#x201C;I feel very fortunate to have such a strong team to work with as we move into the 16\/17 Academic Year!&#x201D;&#xD;<br \/>\n&#xD;<br \/>\n&#x201C;I&#x2019;d like to take this opportunity to congratulate<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.chapman.edu\/happenings\/2015\/06\/12\/associate-dean-ky-kugler-named-most-distinguished-athletic-trainer\/\">Ky Kugler<\/a><br \/>\n (Senior Associate Dean), Kimberly White-Smith (Associate Dean), and<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/our-faculty\/roxanne-miller\">Roxanne Miller<\/a><br \/>\n (Assistant Dean) on their new opportunities.
