Stephany Cuevas<\/a>, assistant professor at Chapman University\u2019s\u00a0Attallah College of Educational Studies<\/a>, was invited by the U.S. Department of Education to join their Family Engagement Evidence Convening. The convening explored the rapidly growing evidence around family engagement as a key level for school improvement and student success \u2013 academically, socially and emotionally. Cuevas\u2019 research on family engagement has led to shaping stronger partnerships between schools and families to support student achievement.<\/span><\/p>\n
