We propose here a contribution to accelerate the pace of scientific discovery by mining a database collected in long-term field research\/conservation sites. By organizing and analyzing a 5-yr data set from the Pacuare Reserve in Costa Rica, we were able detect yearly and seasonal patterns in turtle size and nesting behaviour.
