Brandman University, the fully accredited adult education university within the Chapman University System, will host
“America in the 21st Century: A Town Hall Forum Featuring the California Republican Candidates for U.S. Senate.”
The event enables university students and the general public to openly discuss the issues with the Republican Senatorial candidates on
Tuesday, March 30, from 7-8:30 p.m.
at Brandman University’s Irvine campus, located at 16355 Laguna Canyon Road.

Former congressman Tom Campbell and state Assemblyman Chuck DeVore are confirmed to participate in this first Republican Senatorial candidate event scheduled for Southern California, with an open invitation extended to candidate Carly Fiorina. True to the American-style town hall meeting, the event offers no pre-determined agenda or questions.  Each candidate is invited to make opening and closing statements, and the audience will lead the discussion with questions on their most pressing issues.

“This town-hall event provides an excellent opportunity for voters to gain a first-hand look at the platforms and positions of California’s Republican candidates for U.S. Senate,” said Fred Smoller, PhD, director of the Masters in Public Administration program at Brandman University.  ”Orange County is the most Republican county in the state, and our constituents have a great opportunity to share their voices with the candidates, as well as get a better view of their positions on the issues.”
