Pico Iyer to bring his wanderlust to Chapman University

Lovers of travel, armchair travelers or anyone fascinated by stories of how life is lived around the world, will want to attend Chapman University’s next Distinguished Writer Series event featuring author Pico Iyer.

The acclaimed journalist, essayist, critic, novelist and travel writer will speak at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Sandhu Conference Center. Admission is free.

Iyer’s work has appeared everywhere from the
New York Review of Books
and
Harper’s
to
Sports Illustrated
and
The Los Angeles Times
. He will discuss his life and work as one of the era’s most keen observers of the world’s cultures.

, a novel set in California. This is a return trip to Chapman for Iyer, who was a guest of
